David Simmons, Managing Partner, is an actively involved private investor. He has worked in the media, communications, and travel management industries as CEO of Keystone Communications, Simmons Media Group, and Morris Murdock, LLC. David graduated from the University of Utah and earned an MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently serves as chair of the WGU Corporation and a trustee for Western Governors University. David and his wife Melinda live in Salt Lake City, Utah and have 5 children. He has a love for American presidential history and has traveled to all seven continents in the world.
Brian Hollien, Partner, has enjoyed a career encompassing 40 years in the travel and MICE industries. After graduating from Brigham Young University with a B.S. in Legal Research and Business his first employment was with Bonneville Travel and later Beehive Travel in Salt Lake City which he helped build into a regional agency with offices in Utah, Idaho, Montana and California. Since 2010 Mr. Hollien has been the president of Morris Murdock Travel and Morris Meetings & Incentives. Brian and his wife Jerrine live Erda, Utah. He enjoys traveling as well as being an avid fly fisherman venturing to Alaska, Canada, New Zealand and Russia in pursuit of this favorite pastime.
Jay Klein, Partner, is one of the founders and majority owners of Miami-based A-Plus Meetings and Incentives. He has 25 years of experience in meeting planning and 30 years in travel and travel-related businesses. Before founding A-Plus, he was a Senior Engagement Manager for McKinsey & Company, one of the world’s leading strategic consulting firms. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, as well as a MS in Industrial Engineering and a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan. Jay is originally from the Detroit area, and currently lives in Miami.
